After a small hassle with my reservation at the door, we were seated upstairs with the brilliant waiter Daniel taking care of us. We started with eggs with white truffles, and beef carpaccio with white truffles. The eggs were a bit stronger than the truffles, thus just ok, but the carpaccio was the first WOW of the night. Our next course was a half order of amatriciana and a half of cacio e pepe. We've kind of been doing this all trip to see which restaurant made our favorite versions. Well these two were a cut above all that we've eaten so far- they just had incredible finesse, and were wonderful. Two WOW'S!! For a main we shared their special meatballs, which had this incredible smokey cheese, and the taste won the WOW of the night.
All I can say is, once you get seated, this place is as good as any right now IMHO, and dinner, and the service was WOW!!!!
