My parents are going to be in town for several days in early July. I'm staying in the Rockridge area for the summer, so I'm assuming we'll eat out at least once in the area while they're here. Obviously there are lots of places to choose from, but the limits are these: Dad's not terribly adventurous when it comes to eating, and he always insists on paying for the whole dinner but doesn't want to spend tons of money. We usually go out for one really nice dinner while they're here, and then go out somewhere more casual once or twice. I figure if we do the nice dinner over here, I'll take them over to Baywolf, but I don't know much about the more casual places around. Cafe Rustica looks like it has good pizza and pasta, and the atmosphere at the Rockridge Cafe would be just right for Dad but I have no idea what the food's like. I don't mind just trying something blind, but if anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it. Incidentally, both my parents love seafood and since they live in Montana, they don't get much out there, so good fish and seafood is a big plus.
