Review: Jaipur Gill

Reviewer | Jun 9, 2005 06:44 AM

Verdict: average

Price value: slightly pricy, so a bit below average for Indian

Menu: very limited. Of what was available,, most was vegetarian or seafood. There was little chicken and maybe 3 lamb dishes. Few appetaizers and relatively few tandoori. Despite being called Jaipur Grill, there was only 1 grill dish.

Food: Ordered grouper in curry, chicken tikka, rice and naan. All so-so.

Drinks. Asked for Indian beer and they suggested Kingsfisher, which is actually English. Most Indian restaurants try to pass off Kingfisher as Indian beer, but it is still annoying.

Service: very slow. Brought the wrong order.

Would return: no. Too many better places.
