Review: Bottega Louie

radman123 | May 14, 201001:38 PM

Bottega Louie has been reviewed to death so I will quickly tell you my opinion

Food: B-
Value: B-
Service: B
Atmosphere: A-/B+
Would I go back?: probably not for dinner / maybe to pick up the macaroons at their dessert counter.
Full Menu:

What we ate:

Margherita - Mozzarella, tomato sauce & basil - added half Meatball / half pepperoni ($16) C+
Pizza was average at best - nothing to write home about, including the meatballs which were dissapointing on top

Burrata & Grape Tomatoes ($9) B
Fiancee insisted we get this - though I think it's a waste of money as I can easily buy more and prepare at home.

Chicken Milanese
Breaded chicken breast, arugula & checca ($16) B+
The chciken was cooked how I like -- very thin and fried. My only complaint - and I have made this complaint on the board before - is they served the Checca accompanying it had uncooked garlic cut into it and just overpowered the tomatoes

I think we got something else, but I guess it was pretty unremarkable that I can't remember for the life of me

Macaroons (Carmel & Rosewater) A-

Sidecar Louie Swing (A-) $12 Their signature drink was very good
Mojito $12 (B+)

Bottega Louie
