New restaurants in Millbrae: Cafe Safina & Shanghai Candlelight Dumpling, anyone been?

On Sunday night we were in the Millbrae area. Drove by Broadway Ave, pretty much past the farmer's market parking lot behind Seafood Harbor is a new HK style western food place (cha chan teng) that I think is called Cafe Safina (or something close to it). Now Broadway Bistro will have some competition, as the name in Chinese suggests similar food. Though it would be interesting to try and see if they are just as good.

On the same side of the street, past Peet's but before the post office, a few doors up from Broadway Produce, is a new Chinese restaurant, Shanghai Dumpling (with the word Candlelight in the name). When we walked in to grab the takeout menu, we spoke with the manager briefly. He told us that they are a branch (2nd store) of the one in San Francisco (Balboa Street). The manager himself is from HK but assured us that the chef is from Shanghai.
For those who are more familiar with the Chinese name, it is Bao Jiao Dien (Bun & Dumpling Shop). This new location used to be a sandwich/coffee shop. I've heard that the SF location is not as good anymore, so it would be interesting to try their xiao long bao and see how they compare.

If anyone has been to these new locations, please report back! :-)
