If there are any frequent and familiar travelers to Paris, France- I'm looking for the name of a restaurant off the Champs-Élysées. (Within walking distance of the Hotel California.)
I had dinner there in the mid-90's, so it may no longer be there but it appeared to have been there for a while, so I'm hopeful. (A friend is traveling to Paris in the spring and I was hoping to steer him towards this place if its still around.)
The decor was distinctive and aside from the food, what I remember most about the place. The light fixtures were made from spoons, forks and knives, and the banquettes were upholstered in recycled denim, like old overalls and jeans.
Of course, the food there was amazing! Best escargot I've ever had in my life.
I'd really appreciate any input- I can't remember anything about the name, but I hope the decor rings a bell with someone.
