Response to BBQ Smoker Alert!

Goodbye big honkin Weber Gas Grill with the dedicated gas line and hello Big Green Egg! Well actually, I grilled on two Weber charcoal grills as well. Yep, after years of switching off between three grills; the Weber Charcoal grills and the Weber gas fed grill winter, spring, fall, and summer, I finally have a grill that can do it all; The Big Green Egg!
Thanks for the great info on smokers. After much research and a couple trips to The Back Yard Barbacue in Wilmette, Illinois (They're great guys and very knowledgeable / plus they deliver for free!), I decided on The Big Green Egg. I'm obsessed with cooking and anything to do with food so I just went for it...bought the largest egg. I thought about getting the Weber Bullet for its' ease of use, great reviews, and price, but instead decided on the Big Green Egg for it's's a smoker and a grill. If you haven't visited the website, check out the customer, Big Egg owners are really passionate about them. You can grill, bake, or smoke just about anything in it; pizza, pies, ribs, pork shoulder, veggies, etc. Oh, the third runner up was the electric smoker; SmokinTex.
I fired up the Big Green Egg as soon as it was delivered (can't beat a Sunday delivery). I fresh ground my own rub and made Costco pork chops and chicken leggs. The incredible aromas filled the air out back. My neighbors couldn't resist...they all came out to check out the source of the incredible odors.
