I posted some weeks ago about the new Turkish restaurant in Redwood City. Due to my recent woes with my tummy, I was not able to eat some of the food there. (Could not tolerate, black pepper, garlic and vinegar for a while.)
Finally I went to dinner there on New Year's Eve.
We were a relatively large group, some had the salmon, a few the lamb and some of us the Sarma Beyti Kebap.
It was heavenly!
They also got me a small sample of the lamb. Wonderful! They use the domestic rather than the Australian/New Zealand lamb. The domestic lamb does not smell. It is almost as good as the breed that grows in Thrace--a geographic location shared between Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria.
The people who had the salmon loved it as well. One lady said that it is very different than any other salmon dish she said.
