Sunday I went to the Shinagawa aquarium and stopped at the Grand Central Oyster Bar in Atre Shinagawa for a little brunch.
The Bloody Mary was very tomato-y, but fortunately they have a pepper mill and Tobasco on the table.
We tried an 8 oyster sampler to start and it included two from Oyster Bay (US) that were amazing. I'm having a tough time remembering the other kinds, but the "Kyushuk...." something oysters were a bit salty.
New England Clam chowder was a litle bland but they graciously offered to split it for the two of us. Nice touch.
Fried oysters, NY style were quite good.
Cajun Style Swordfish quesadillas were more like a large, grilled wrap sandwich but also tasty. It came with homemade salsa and guacamole, a very nice touch.
I'll head back again for sure.
