Renu Nakorn vs. Thai Nakorn

Midlife | Jan 13, 200602:43 PM

After eating at Lotus of Siam, in Las Vegas, we would love to find a Thai restaurant of similar quality close to South OC. I've seen favorable posts here about both Thai Nakorn and Renu Nakorn. Given that Renu Nakorn was owned by the people who now own Lotus of Siam, and I'm told the menus are much the same, and also that the LOS owners keep up a relationship with Renu Nakorn............... it would seem to be a no-brainer that Renu Nakorn is likely close to LOS in quality, and likely the better of the two.

But............ how does Renu Nakorn compare with the better locations of Thai Nakorn???? And is there anything as good in South OC?

I already know that the Mission Viejo location (of TN) is not the same as the others, though it's the closest to us. We've been there and it was mediocre and nothing like LOS. Mongkut Thai, in San Clemente, seems to be the best in far-South OC.
