Rehoboth Report (Back porch, Sea Witch B&B, Iguana Grill)

A few notes on our recent trip to Rehoboth.

We stayed at the Sea Witch Manor B&B, which served fabulous breakfasts. Fresh muffins and fruit, and a great homemade main course with side meat. First day it was a vegetable egg strada. Second day were fresh waffles with bananas foster on top. They even served me vegetarian fake bacon on the side since I'm a vegetarian. Also great location on quiet residential street 2 blocks from main drag, 1/2 mile or less to beach.

We tried the margaritas at the Iguana Grill on the advice of a Chowhound post. Nothing exciting. Definitely made from a mix, not fresh lime juice.

Back Porch was wonderful. I had the wild mushroom and butternut squash rissotto manicotti with fresh mozzarella. My husband had the tuna with tomatillo cream sauce and a fabulous buttery sweet potato pave. Desserts were exactly twice the size I expected. The ginger stout cake was rich and spicy, a perfect match with the peach sauce. The blueberry summer bread pudding was good, with a nice tart lemon sauce.
