Recs for an October art reception?

Ok, so early in October I'll be hosting an art reception in my Philadelphia studio (two days over a weekend, 12pm - 6pm). I want to have some nice and slightly different bites and snacks available as this is part of a neighborhood art tour - and I want both my art AND my food to stand out!

What would be some of your recs? I want to be able to do a spread that is

a) reasonably priced (I'm an artist, not quite starving, but you get the idea)
b) can be prepared in advance and just plated/portioned out during the day
c) a little out of the ordinary (I figure everyone else will be doing cheese & crackers...)
d) something(s) that would go well with some inexpensive but nicely picked wines (I will probably do a Cali Pinot Noir; a light Italian white; a spritz punch made with prosecco, orange juice and aperol; and perhaps a red wine sangria for drinks).

I love to cook so something I could prepare the day before, even if it would take some time, would be fine. I just won't be able to spend any time in the kitchen during the reception.

Any ideas much appreciated!
