What recipe do you share and never make?

What recipe do you share with friends and yet never make and serve at your house?

I have a beef brisket recipe that I have shared for years. It is from a junior league cookbook (from the greater Houston area) from the early 1980's. At the time, I shared the recipe with all my girlfriends’ mothers, who loved the recipe, since the brisket was so very tender. In those days, I ate meat, today, I do not. However, I still share the recipe, today, with friends who eat meat.

3-5 pound boneless brisket
1 medium onion, chopped
3T oil
1 cup dry red wine
1 cup strong coffee
3 T ketchup
2 cloves garlic, minced

Saute chopped onion in oil. Add brisket and brown on both sides. Place in baking pan. Mix coffee, wine, ketchup, and garlic. Pour over brisket. Cover and bake for 3-4 hours at 300 ∘F. When done, remove meat, slice on bias and serve with baking juices.

(Today I would replace the ketchup with tomatoes and spices.)
