Early in the summer, I had plans to meet with a friend for dinner. We were planning to dine on the avenue but it had been closed. She suggested that we eat at Rebeccas in Glenville; now I've lived here for ten years and have yet to stop and eat there. Long story short, I cannot emphasize enough about the overall experience with the food, service, and ambience. We started with the corn blini, which was suggested as one of the restaurant's most popular dishes -- Amazing! My friend ordered a meat entree and I ordered the Black Sea bass and we split. We finished with a restaurant signature, the Baked Alaska. The presentation and the taste was totally worth it.
While the restaurant is high-end and costly, you definitely get your money's worth. Although I may not eat here every night, there was not one negative comment I could make about the restaurant. A special occasion, a dinner date, and even a night to catch up and talk with your friend(s) is worth coming for and dining at Rebeccas.
