Random thoughts - Tops, Twoheys, Madame Matisse

Was in the Pasadena area and stopped at Tops drive-thru for an advocado/bacon cheeseburger. It was very tasty but I was a bit thrown by the fact that it was cut in half. Is that how they always do it?? Very odd for a burger. Fries well done were very good as well.

Then went to Twoheys in Alhambra and had one of their famous hot fudge sundaes with delicious bittersweet chocolate sauce. Highly recommended if a little pricey ($5.50 I think).

Also, drove by Madame Matisse on Sunset in Silverlake tonight and noticed they were open. Are they open for dinner every night? I thought they were just breakfast and lunch. Has anyone been for dinner yet?

Twohey’s, 1224 N. Atlantic Blvd., Alhambra, (626) 284-7387.
Tops, 3838 E Colorado Blvd Pasadena, CA 91107
Madame Matisse, 3536 W Sunset Blvd, Silver Lake, CA
