Qingdao Garden: menu update

Aromatherapy | Nov 17, 2003 05:21 PM

They changed their menu two months ago, according to the waiter. The column of “House Specialties” that featured General Gao’s and similar has been much expanded (still starts off the same way). Looks a great deal like Wang’s recent update, and like Wang’s I think they put a lot of their Chinese-posted dishes on the menu but as I’m not a Qingdao regular (Wang’s is more convenient), I’m not sure. I do remember the braised pig’s feet in brown sauce having been posted. There are several hot pots, two with fish heads; garlic flavored Chinese potherbs; shredded pork with celery and with stumble (scrambled?) eggs; a couple bitter melon things; sweet and sour, and spicy salted, tenderloin; a couple sole preparations. The back page hasn’t changed much except many prices are up a little.
