I am putting together a mixed case of Pinot Noir for my father in law's birthday gift. He is a terrific guy and has been generous to us with his time and energy and we want to put together a mixed case that he will really enjoy.
He likes soft, fruit driven pinot, but shies away from "Pinot that tries to be Cabernet"... I think that means highly extracted pinot that starts to have a tannic edge.
I am definitely dropping a bottle of Roar in the case. Any other suggestions?
