How to prepare onion chicken in South Indian style | Tasty Recipe

Ingredients:
3 sliced onions
6 green chillies
6 tbsp of oil
1/4th tbsp. of turmeric powder
Salt
1 cup of water
Sliced onions
6 tbsp of mutton powder
Curry leaves
1 kg of chicken

Directions:
• Add 3 tbsp of oil into the pan
• Add sliced onions into the pan
• Fry the onions in low flame to golden brown
• One the onion turns into golden brown, add the mutton powder into the pan (turn off the gas during this process)
• Add half a cup of water
• Grind the mixture into a fine paste
• Once the past is prepared, add 3 tbsp of oil into a fresh pan
• Add a few sliced onions into the pan
• Once the onions are brown, add the sliced green chillies into the pan
• Add the chicken once the and chillies turns into golden brown
• After adding the chicken, allow it cook for 2 minutes and close the lid
• After 2 minutes, add the salt into the chicken and mix it well thoroughly
• Allow the chicken to cook for about 20 minutes until it is tender
• Now, add the prepared paste into the chicken
• Allow the chicken to cook for 5 minutes in medium flame (add the salt if required)
• Mix it well thoroughly
• Now, add some water as per the desired gravy you need
• Allow the chicken to cook for 2 minutes
• Add water as per the desired gravy you need
• Allow the chicken to cook for 2 minutes
• Now, add the curry leaves and mix it well thoroughly
• Switch off the gas and allow the chicken to cook for two minutes
• Sprinkle some coriander leaves
• Now the chicken is ready to serve!
