I usually try not to eat anything too heavy within a couple hours of yoga class, but sometimes I'm too busy doing other things and I lose track of time. The result of this is that I end up either going on a semi-full, uncomfortable stomach because I've eaten too close to class time, or I go on empty and run out of steam before class is over...both scenarios make for a less than optimal experience. In a pinch I'll grab a Lara bar or eat a carrot, but if I'm starving those things don't always work.
Wondering if anyone has some favorite healthy foods that I can consume prior to yoga/exercising that will leave me satisfied and energized without feeling stuffed. Thanks!
