I have been baking bread on the stove recently
It has been working fine but yesterday the bottom came off of my stainless steel pot.
I am looking for a new pot.
Apparently stainless steel is safe. Mine did go dark inside.
In instructions for baking bread on the stove, it suggests ceramic and cast iron (that a heavy pot is better). Stainless steel too.
I went to Superstore and found stoneware but it says do not place on direct heat/stovetop.
Any ideas? Places to go?
There were roasters at Superstore. It didn't say what it was made of. A lot of products actually didn't describe clearly where or how the product should be used. Especially the products by President's Choice.
I read metal is safe to use in the oven and stove.
