I was just given a crockpot as a gift. We used it yesterday for a fantastic brisket and are anxious to use it again (possibly tonight!). My question, which is probably ridiculous given the nature of crockpot slow-cooking, is about faster cooking times. Once we get home from work, we're probably only willing to wait about 3 hours to eat. Is anything meat-related (i.e., not soup or pasta) do-able in the crockpot in such a short time?
