I'm going to be in Portland for one night and Eugene for four and would appreciate recommendations. We have an 8:45 reservation at Wildwood and wonder if there is a good wine bar within walking distance of the restaurant (or alternatively, of our hotel, Lucia) where we might stop off before (and maybe after too). At some point on the trip I am determined to eat my fill of oysters and would appreciate oyster bar recommendations either in Portland (for a midweek lunch) or in Eugene or vicinity. It would help if the place served something else too as my friend doesn't share my passion. Also, is morel season already over? I would love to know if anywhere is serving a mushroom menu or otherwise has mushrooms not to pass by. We will be able to cook in Eugene so will be foraging there as well, as it were.
