So I went to The Place last night. It was exactly what I was looking for: good food and wine, warm service, cozy/romantic atmosphere, moderate prices. Everything was good while the sweet potato ravioli (app) was AMAZING. I don't claim to know anything about cooking, but I know good food when I taste it. I rarely eat pasta but recommendations on this board led me to this selection. Each raviolo melted in my mouth. The pasta was not too thick and so the sweet potato could still be tasted. However neither of the tastes stood out but melted together perfectly. I don't know what was on top, a light oil maybe, but that only complemented the ravioli more. Is is just me or are these ravioli in their own league?
