I went to Pizzetta 211 last night with a friend. We each had a pizza. I wanted to share one but the fellow said that they are built for one. I had cauliflower, breadcrumbs and asked for their house made sausage. She had collard greens and the sausage. she had wine and I had a Limonata. I was sad to see that they did not offer a side vegetable as they did over the summer. we shared olives that tasted as if they had just been removed from their jars.
the best parts of the meal were how well the collards were cooked, the crust on the pizzas and an absolutely gorgeous "deep dish" apple pie. The apples were so perfectly themselves (Sirra Beauty), the thick crust had a an almost imperceptible sprinkle of turbinado sugar. It was hardly sweet and came with a generous portion of chantilly.
The bathroom is really fun. there is a tiny theatre sculpture playing a quilt like movie with great music. The bill was a bit pricey. But I love the space and the idea.
