My husband and I went to Pincholine for our anniversary. The place feels a bit cramped, but intimate. The food was excellent. It is described as Mediterranean, but it is more French with a flavor of the Mediterranean. Their squab with licorice sauce is superb. Wine and cheese excellent. The waiter was classy, but not arrogant, and had a good sense of humor which really adds to the dining experience. He was attentive without being intrusive/hovering. It's comparable to my experience at the River Cafe in Brooklyn. The only thing I didn't like is the ceiling; that belongs to an office. Otherwise, it was excellent. I can't praise them enough. Go to Pincholine to remain in love with your significant other!
