I know Guelaguetza has been reviewed many times but it's our favorite Mexican in LA. So for the few who have yet to be initiated, I thought I would post some pictures as well. On our last trip, my wife got the "enchiladas"--not what we normally think of as enchiladas, but rather plain tortillas smothered with sauce and then topped with a mound of quesillo (Oaxacan string cheese with a tough texture that makes taste like a cross between cheese and al dente spaghetti). I got Salsa de Huevos, an open face omelette smothered in a light tomato sauce, served with black beans on the side. It was a lot of egg, but incredibly tasty.
