My husband and I are coming to Portland for 4 nights on Tuesday. I've already mined chowhound suggestions for bars, food trucks and dinners. What we enjoy most on city trips is packing up a picnic lunch and bottle of wine in the morning and then walk all day stopping somewhere along the way to eat our lunch. What are the hound's recommendations for best comestibles somewhat close to our hotel on SW Washington between 5th and 6th? And if there's a "not miss" cluster of food stores elsewhere we'd be happy to walk there if we could make it before lunch. Thanks so much.
