Last night I had some pickled daikon at a restaurant and plan to make some at home. I didn't care for the pickled carrots that accompanied it. What other vegetables would work well with this simple sweet sour pickle besides cucumber? And have you any other quick favorite pickled Asian salad ingredients?
The recipe I plan to use includes:
1 medium daikon
3 Tbs vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 Tbs sesame seed oil 1 Tbs sugar
