i just got back from the pickle fest on orchard--very fun and lots-o-[free]-pickled goods! kim chee, olives, garlic, herring, and of course, pickles.
my fav continues to be gus' sour, but it was interesting to compare. gus did sell me on what just might be the best martini olives around.
we got there at 11:00, so the samples were plenty. i don't know if they continued the generous give-aways into the afternoon.
