New place called The Art of Soup on 7th Street between Thomas & McDowell serving homemade soup. Open 10-2 Mon thru Sat. Kind of pricey. $5+ for a small container, $10+ for a medium container (about a decent sized bowl).
Have good ingredients. McClendon Farms produce, Simply Bread, Queen Creek olive oil, fancy local chocolate.
I'm a huge soup fan so was really hoping for a Soup Nazi "have to sit down" type experience but didn't get that. Was good but not $10 good for me???
Kind of feel the quality of the produce gets lost when it's souped maybe???
It's right next to Drip Coffee Lounge, which I have been falling more & more & more in love with over time btw. Coffee is great. Sandwiches are great (bltc & cucumber sandwich are amazing). Nice relaxed atmosphere. Love a Lux & Pane Bianco Saturday but it's a nice alternative to fighting the crowd.
