Peperoncino (5th Ave and St. Marks in Brooklyn) had the most amazing pasta and bean dish that I was obsessed with. The pasta was a homemade eggless noodle which was quite chewy, in a good way. The beans had been cooked down with tomatoes to a point where it made a super creamy sauce which was so delicious.
But the last two times I was there, the dish had totally changed. They are using thin flat noodles, and there's no sauce to speak of, so it's pretty bland.
Has anyone else had the same experience? I want to get them to change their recipe back!
