I've had many meals at this restaurant (on El Camino, near California Ave) in Palo Alto, and I am always surprised that it doesn't get more attention. Admittedly, I tend to stick to the same favorite dishes, but what I've had has been consistently good; the service is attentive (waiters watch to see that your appetizers are finished before bringing main courses), and it is both comfortable and extremely clean.
Have only had the duck once, and I remember it as good, not great ... whole ducks are prepared crispy and nicely carved at your table. The dish I keep going back for is buried in the menu under "noodle dishes" -- "Crispy noodles with assorted Seafood". Consists of a large plate of crispy noodles, topped tonight with 12 Medium-sized, Fresh Prawns, Scallops, 4 boy choy, and 6 strips of FRESH calamari -- not that horrible preserved stuff served in many places. Only complaint = too much sauce so the noodles in the center of the dish get soggy ... but for $8.50 ... hard to beat for me. Interested in comments from the hounds ... it just seems like this place falls thru the cracks.
