My husband and I went to Pearson's Texas Barbecue in Queens recently and we were very impressed by the juicy, smokey meat. Although it took us a while to realize that the bar and the barbecue are different business (so we had to pay seperately for food and for drinks), we somehow got our beer and meat successfully.
After our visit to the bar/restaurant, I read that Pearson's used to be somewhere else, had to close because of complaints in the neighborhood about the smoke and smell, and finally moved into the Legend's Bar.
Now I'm curious about the former Pearson's, which of course I've never been to. How did it look? Was it big? Was it as neat as it is now or different? If anyone knows, please tell me! Thank you.
