PDX chowhounder thank-you for bagel / indian suggestion

Got bagels from Georgetown bagels and Indian from Heritage.
Heritage was great. When I got back to Portland I mixed the Georgetown bagels with Noahs bagels and gave them as gift to various support staff. No one had any difficulty distinguishing the "active" bagels from the "placebo" bagels (Noahs).

Heritage was quite good. Liked the grazing concept. Did not know it was possible to get apathetic service at an Indian restaurant.

Also went to an Italian restaurant in Adams Morgan (Mias? people line up to get in, no reservations). We have many similar type restaurants in Portland but none as good. Huge portions of intensely flavored pastas. I had a porcini pasta special that was amazing.

With all the sirens and traffic to put up with Washingtonians deserve such great fare.
