After Robert's excellent write up of Best Panda in SF Weekly, things have changed:
- prices have gone up
- nice new slick menu
- hand written signs w/ specials on the wall gone
- food was dissapointing, though deep fried sole was still great; big leaf snow pea leaf overcooked; pan fried noodle was tasteless; seafood w/ tofu soup was overly starchy
As a side note, this restaurant seems to be a haven for chinese general contractors, painters, plumbers, electricians. I'm betting you can find somebody to remodel your house here if you spoke chinese :)
In closing, still a great bargain if you live in the neighborhood, but certainly not much different from your local chinese restauran anywhere in the bay area IMO.
