I pulled a pineapple upside down cake out of the oven yesterday, puffed and brown--but it was just a raw liquid mess inside.
So I checked my (gas) oven temperature and it was only 200F after the oven beeped to indicate it had preheated to 350F. The oven did come on and get hot, but way low.
My question -- is this likely the oven temperature sensor?
(The stovetop works fine. This is not a fancy stove, just a $650 Kenmore about 3-4 years old.) Thank you!
