I have a guest coming into town from Asia in two weeks, who happen to be chowhounders too, and they begged me to make an rsvp at either Morimoto or Del Posto, better yet, both in everyway possible.
I need some suggestions on what to order at both establishments ?
Obviously money is not a problem, but getting rsvps on short-notice for these two establishments are huge hassles. I did try Morimoto in which I got an rsvp for March at the earliest or hoping for some cancellations. I guess the fact that I've eaten over 6x at Morimoto Philadelphia didn't make a difference.
Del Posto, on the other hand, after several tries, my calls never went through.
Any ideas, suggestions, hints, tips, tricks on how to get the rsvps, perhaps by going there and meet the Matre D face to face with some 'New York' style rsvp booster, if you know what I mean ?
