We will be in Paris from Sept 3rd to Sept 8th and are looking for a few good but reasonable places to eat(we are on a budget). I have searched this board ,tripadvisor, and asked recommendations from our hotel(Hotel Ares tour Eiffel in the 15th,near Mo:Motte Picquet). The hotel recommended La Gauloise ...has anyone been there before?Advice is appreciated.
I am also looking for good restaurants in the 15th and near Opera Garnier, where we will staying for the second half of our stay. So far,I feel like i want to try the following:
1)Angelinas for the chocolate.
2)Laudree for the macaroons.
3)Bofinger for an elegant French meal.
4)La Gauloise in the 15th(near Avenue Motte Picquet) as its near out first hotel.
5)Be(the new bakery by Alain Ducasse and Kayser).
6)Cafe Marly for lunch the day we are at the Louvre.
Thanks for any help on this. I will make sure i post a review when i get back!
