I will be visiting Halifax and Cape Breton during the first half of October (Oct.9 - 18) and wondered what shellfish are harvested at that time. I believe that lobster season will be over (does this seemingly mean no fresh lobster?)...and what about Digby Scallops and crabs? I assume that mussels are ever-present. Can someone shed some light on what shellfish we can expect to devour on our vacation?
