NYT reviews great places to grab a craft beer in Westchester

I was thrilled to see Birdsall House get a mention in the dining review yesterday. I could sit there with their cajun popcorn and a couple of beers all night. Throw in the cheese plate and I'm in heaven. Anyone been to Thornwood Ale House? Even without the beer, I'd go for the popcorn with 15 toppings and milkshake happy hour. Kittle House's Tap Room sounds worthy of a visit too. A glaring omission from this list is Croton's new Green Growler, which is a great new niche small business to support. Not only are they uniting beer lovers upcounty, but they have breweries coming to visit with samples and favorites plus limited/rare beers for purchase (Blue Point came last week and Keegan, Sixpoint, and Harpoon are upcoming). Any other businesses you'd have liked to have seen on the list?
