My old college roommate and I are meeting in NY again in mid November. I am from Vancouver and she is from Sweden. We already know we are going to Marea and Scalinatella. We need one more dinner and we usually like to go to whatever is "of the moment" when we visit for one of our nights.

My husband and I went to Frenchette in June so we did that already. Is there anything new and buzzy we should be looking into a reservation for? We usually go out for drinks or to a club after and are dressed in cocktail attire so something a bit more upscale would be ideal. Our favourites in the past: le cou cou and bar room at the moderne

I am a pescetarian so no steakhouses.

Any additional ideas for bars/clubs would be great too. We have been to Le Bain, Phd, and the gansevoort, and had a good time at all 3.
