nova questions

I may have a friend visiting me in a few weeks and want some good ethnic in places in Nova to take him. I've hit a lot of places already (as you can tell by my Jayask posts.) He isn't a big fan of Chinese cuisine, but likes most others.

Was thinking:
Nam Viet
Ravi Kabob
Full Kee (maybe)
Lalibela (if he can get over his one ethiopian food experience, which was in nyc and bad.)
Java Shack
Rabieng, or whatever Thai is better?

How do those sound? What are the best Thai places in NoVa? I'd prefer options that aren't pricey.

What are the best Middle Eastern places in Nova? I've been to panshjir and Nizam's in Vienna, Food Factory, and Kabob Bazaar.

I'd consider Lebanese Taverna...but the one on Washington (near Lost Dog)is being remodeled.

Is Maneki neko in falls church better than Matuba in Arlington?

Any truly great Latin places in Nova? I've tried costa verde, super pollo, and el pollo rico.

I'm in Ballston, btw...but we will be driving.
