Travelling to Ireland at the end of April, and will likely be spending most of our time in Northern Ireland. I've searched this board, but unfortunately haven't found much information. If anybody should have any advice to offer, we would greatly appreciate it.
We'll be going to a wedding in Co. Fermenagh, and then we're interested in doing some walking. Considering walking the Dun Caochain Cliffs in Co. Mayo and staying in Belmullet. Anybody have any interesting food/pub recs for the area? We'd also love to grab some interesting cheeses/bread etc for the walk.
Also considering walking eve League in Co. Donegal. Anywhere interesting to eat around there?
From there, we'll likely be heading to the Giant's Causeway. Depending on which city has the best food/drink, that's where we'll book our accommodation. Hopefully some of you out there can offer advice.
Finally, heading out of Belfast - which I hear is one of the best city's in Ireland for food - true/false?
We're also interested in trying any micro breweries - and of course whiskey.
Thanks very much.
