I was debating whether to post this, but decided that I had eaten one thing that was worth mentioning to french fry-loving 'hounds.

Olive aioli. So simple, so delicious. Has anyone else had this with french fries? The tanginess of the olives really adds something to the fries, which were fine but not exceptional.

Nordstrom Cafe remains a solid lunch spot if you're downtown and need a quick bite in a relatively nice setting. It's not as expensive (or quite as delicious) as eating inside Neiman Marcus or any of the Belden Place/Maiden Lane eateries, but the setting is much more convival and relaxing than a noisy Thai place or Lori's Diner.

Good pizza, great mussels, hot soup, friendly service, and Mighty Leaf Tea.
