Noon O Kabob, Check Please, Larry David

Old School | Jan 12, 2004 11:47 AM

On what looked like a new airing of Check Please the other night, one of the segments was devoted to Noon O Kabob, a casual-looking Persian place I've passed a number of times but haven't tried. The three guests on the show all praised it mightily, and the taped footage of the various dishes looked great (quite similar in appearance to some of the Reza's offerings--feta/radish/parsley plate, baba ganoush, shishleek, chicken kabobs, both with saffron or dill rice.)

Any experiences worth sharing?

(Related entertainment note: if you didn't see "Curb Your Enthusiasm" last night, there's a funny bit involving Larry at a party walking around with a kabob stick that he doesn't know how to get rid of.)
