If you only had one night in Beaune, where would you eat?

I know there have been several posts on this subject, but I'm hoping for one definitive answer and a little help. I'll be in Beaune for one week this July and will have two friends joining me for three nights. These friends are major foodies with a major passion for wine and are looking to enjoy the absolute best in Beaune, cost is of no concern.

I've been several times and have enjoyed meals at Ma Cuisine, Le P'tit Paradis and L'Ecusson. I've also enjoyed meals at les parts des anges and caveau des arches, though I felt those menus were a bit too modern? Maybe it was my menu selection.

Here's our itinerary thus far and I'm looking to remove something and replace it with the best, because I don't feel that I have it! I'm open to ideas!

tuesday dinner: (they're driving from Normandy to Beane this day): Le Gourmadin
Wednesday lunch: Le petit paradis
Wednesday dinner: out to dinner with winemaker
Thursday lunch: Ma Cuisine
Thursday dinner: Le Montrachet

I'm not so sure about Le Montrachet. Would L'Ecusson, Jardin des Remparts or Relais Bernard Louiseau be better? I had an incredible experience at L'Ecusson in 2005, but haven't seen much written about them. I wanted to go to Lameloise, but they're closed wed/thurs of this particular week. My friends are looking for perfection and something mind-blowing like The French Laundry. This is their first time to Burgundy.

I'd appreciate any "best of" advice you can offer. I haven't been to Burgundy since Nov. 2006 so I think my experiences might be a little outdated.
