I tried Nicholas Roberts and although there were some interesting things about it, it was ultimately a forgettable experience. Good things: it's BYO and has a nice, casual atmosphere. Given that you bring your own wine, the prices are reasonable. But onto the more important thing - the food. One dish at the table was truly good - the chicken entree. But the salmon was overcooked and dry, and tasted and appeared as if it had been cooked way earlier and reheated in the microwave. Same thing with the rice cake that accompanied it - dry and microwaved. The hangar steak was good, but not remarkable. The desserts were fine, but again, not remarkable. They did not taste any better than you might get at a coffee shop. There are so many restaurants to choose from in this area. When one such as this one is fine, but nothing great, there is no reason to return.
