Where to go for a nice, quiet dinner?

Tatyana Gourov | May 9, 200210:16 AM     1

I am looking for a restaurant (any location in the city) that has delicious food, is not a "scene", has attentive service and nice (not flashy) decor (it would also be nice if one could have a quiet conversation there). Any cuisine except Asian and American and preferably around $40/person. Anyone?
