went to the museum and had lunch at the cafeteria on saturday. i had a chicken tamal with peanut sauce(the masa inside was smooth and yummy), fried plantains topped with grated cheese and quinoa salad. my friend had the plank-roasted salmon and fennel/fig salad. fry bread with cinnamon sugar for dessert, washed down with hibiscus tea. everything tasted fresh and delicious. the prices were quite reasonable -- my tamal with two sides came to $6.95 and i think my friend's salmon was $8 something.
