So I think I finally finalized our trip plans.
Would love a recommendation for breakfast on the way to Napa from San Rafael.
Taste and tour at Domaine Carneiros. I can't tell how long the tasting and tour would take. Any idea? I haven't made any reservations yet.
We have a full circle tour at Robert Sinskey at 1:00. Using google maps it shows that from DC to RS is about 22 minute but that does not allow for traffic. Should we leave DC around 12:15?
I am think the Perfect circle tour at RS will take about 90 minutes. So we should be done around 2:30. This tour will include some food which will count as our lunch. I have already made reservations here.
Should we follow up with a tasting at Clif Lede at around 3:00? I know it basically a walk in tasting.
Head to Napa around 4:00 so we can check into our hotel. Explore downtown Napa and maybe grab a snack at Oxbow Market if we are not full from the Perfect Circle lunch.
We have dinner reservations at Bistro Jeanty at 8:15. We plan on ubering it for dinner. The food at Bistro Jeanty looks amazing. Is it worth getting to Yountville early to explore or should we save it for the following afternoon?
Sunday: this is still tentative
Grab a breakfast taco at C Casa
Head to Long Meadow Ranch for their Full Circle Tour OR should we just do the estate tour followed by lunch at Farmstead? The Full circle tour is $200 per person and lasts 3.5 hours. It includes the tour plus a 3 course sit down lunch with wine. Or the estate tour is 2.5 hours and does not include lunch but we would follow it up with lunch at Farmstead. So we would definitely allocate 3-4 hours at Long Meadow Ranch. Finish up the afternoon with a tasting at Heitz Cellars if I can get a reservation.
Would like to head to Yountville after that. Would Bouchon Bakery have any macarons available at that time? Our 9 year old daughter loves macarons and has requested that we get some for her from our trip. Or should I try getting them earlier in the day at Model Bakery in Oxbow Market? We have dinner later that night at Ad Hoc would they have access to macarons from BB?
